Students are encouraged to hold each pose for an extended period of time with or without the use of different props, for deep relaxation and stretching. Please note that students are responsible for bringing their own props such as two or more yoga blocks, straps, and/or a bolster should you wish to use them in the class.
Ayurvedic yoga focuses on yoga postures targeting different doshas to bring them into balance for a better health. Prior to attending the class, one needs to receive a proper diagnosis from a credible source or a professional ayurvedic practitioner.
Hatha yoga involves the practice of body postures, breathing techniques, and meditation. It is generally a slow style of yoga and is ideal for you if you are looking for some gentle movement and stretching.
This class is designed for those who are quite new to yoga. The class itself will be focusing on dissecting basic and commonly seen yoga poses and different styles of sun salutations and moon salutation. You will become more familiar and confident in practicing different styles of yoga, such as hatha yoga, which threads multiple yoga poses into a more coherent practice.
